The first layer that appears is the Ancient Romanesque Portico hidden behind the new facade.
Crossing the Court, a new layer: The Gothic Ceremony Hall, a stunning room beautifully decorated with corbels representing a royal medieval feast, with exquisite little wall busts depicting musicians, bakers, feasters, kings and jugglers, and close to it an interesting medieval kitchen.
In order to continue the walk through its history you will visit the Manrique Hall, from 17th century, before leaving the palace. Once out the building, let the eyes calm down while look at the humble wall of the Neoclassic facade, which contrasts with the lavish Baroque splendour of the close Cathedral.
